    Consistency:  With 2018 coming to an end, we should take this time to reflect on both the good and bad times this year had to offer. While the good times bring us joy and warmth, the bad times are cold, yet sharpen our armor and for what life throws at you next. With so much hate and violence developing among us, let’s personally make this year about spreading positivity and building ourselves both mentally and physically. You don’t need to a wait till January 1st to make a change, but it’s always good to start the New Year with a clean slate and a fresh perspective. Here are some ways that provide a positive start to the New Year.

    No matter what your goals may be being consistent is extremely significant to accomplishing anything. In fact, six months of hardcore focus and consistency can put you five years ahead in life. Do not underestimate the power of consistency and desire. Health (Mental & Physical) Rather than dwell on a factitious reality filled with materialistic things you see on social media, focus on the imperative things you can control. For example, your physical and mental health. Fitness is a key component that works in cahoots with your mental. You need both to operate efficiently. Aside from the vanity aspect, being active provides clarity, confidence, and all the tools you need to make better decisions physiologically, in turn creating happiness.     Self-awareness:  Finding yourself is easier said than done and cannot be achieved overnight. Sometimes we look in the mirror and don’t like what we see. However, self-awareness is a key component to happiness and success.     Social Media Time:  How long do you spend on social media a day? Use that precious time and devote your energy in activities that are much more productive. There are even apps that monitor your time on social media. It is truly eye opening. Remember Everything In Moderation.
